Don Juan Eco-Farm
Located 5 minutes from Fortuna we will take you to Finca Burio, own by Don Juan, the real Costa Rican farmer. Just to say hi and talk to this character it is worth the tour !. As soon as we arrive he will give us a tour of all the plantations, fruits you`ve never seen in a supermarket and all the uses for cooking, health benefits and industrial uses. A paradise for birds in the wild because the design of the land and the plantation attract them in a natural way, so will experience real rainforest wildlife.
In the same property they have a “trapiche” you will see from first hand the process of sugar cane, drink it and enjoy the process sugar cane liquor: “guaro”
After this nice day of proper use of the land and enjoy creation you will have the healthiest, organic and delicious snack done by Don Juan’s wife.
Tour includes: door to door minivan A/C service, certified bilingual guide, entrance fee to the farm tour and snack.
