White Water rafting Rio Toro, class III & IV

TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Our journey starts by picking you up at your hotel at around 8:30 a.m., followed by a 1.15 hour ride to Toro River from La Fortuna. Here you will start you day adventure.
The Río Toro offers over 45-continuous rapids along more than 16 kilometers of deep-canyon gorges and waterfalls where we often see sloths, monkeys and tropical birds, such as toucans and the Montezuma Oropendula.
Once at the river, our experienced guides will give you a thorough safety talk, get you set up with your helmet, life jacket and paddle and then you're off – you'll be paddling for more than 2½ hours – we'll stop along the way for a nice, tropical fruit break and afterward we take you out for a typical Costa Rican “casado” lunch.
RETURN TIME: Arriving at the center of the town of La Fortuna around 3:30-4:00 p.m.
INCLUDES: Transportation on A/C minibus, and experienced bilingual guide, rafting equipment, lunch, fresh fruits and beverages.
WHAT TO BRING: Change of clothes, towels, strap on sandals or tennis shoes, bathing suit, shorts, sunscreen, and rain gear during rainy days.
