Sarapiqui Whitewater rafting Full day Tour
DEPARTURE HOUR: 7:30 a.m. from La Fortuna (Please inquire departure time from your hotel)
TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Our journey starts by picking you up at your hotel at around 7:30 a.m., followed by a 1.5 hour ride to Sarapiqui River from La Fortuna. Here you will start you day adventure in one of the country´s most spectacular rivers, flowing past virgin rainforest and winding through magnificent scenery.
The tour includes: • Fitting life vests and safety helmets • Safety instructions at our private put-in followed by practice paddling and assigning individual positions on the boat. • 2 hours long, 13 Km run on class II and III rapids on the scenic Sarapiquí River. • All boats used are Top brands 14 feet, used with 4 or 6 passenger depending on river conditions • Safety kayaks always in number related to number of boats on the tour. • Energizing fresh local fruits by the river at a swimming spot • A ride back for shower and changing at our facilities • Costa Rica Tipical Lunch (Casado)RETURN TIME: Arriving at the center of the town of La Fortuna around 2:30 p.m.
INCLUDES: Transportation on A/C minibus, and experienced bilingual guide, rafting equipment, lunch, fresh fruits and beverages.
WHAT TO BRING: Change of clothes, towels, strap on sandals a tennis shoes, bathing suit, shorts, sunscreen, and rain gear during rainy days.
CLASS III: Suitable for all levels of experience, fun and safe.
